Central Battery Units

Admagnetics is a manufacturer of Maintained and Non-Maintained Central Battery Units. Our standard range of Admalite Central Battery Units is available in the standard UK voltages of 24, 50 and 110 Volts. We also manufacture custom made items, on request.

At the heart of many emergency lighting systems, our Maintained Central Battery Units are used to power the lights when the mains supply is present. On interruption of the mains supply, the DC power from the batteries is supplied through the same output terminations. In this way, the lighting being supplied can be illuminated all the time.

When our Non-Maintained Central Battery is used there is no output from the unit, when the mains supply is present. The lights used with such a unit are likely to only be lit during a period when the mains supply has failed.

Our Standby Central Battery Units are typically provided in a non-switched output format. The output supply is fed from the batteries at all times and the batteries are charged via a controlled charging circuit when the mains supply is healthy and present. Typically such units are used with luminaires which have the capability to switch between a mains supply source and the Standby Central Battery Unit provides an instant source of DC power. As with all our Central Battery Units, custom made items are available on request.

Our Admalite-Mini range is a compact, wall mountable range of the Maintained and Non-maintained central Battery Units.

Where you have a requirement to supply 216 Volt systems we work with RSV Ruhstrat to provide the solution you require. The RSV Ruhstrat RUSIC system offers a wide range of options effectively allowing a custom made solution to be provided in each case
